Oh i hate my hair HELP :( :( :(?

i hate my hair now, it used to be nice, LONG, curly/wavy and a darkish brown that matched my eyebrows perfectly.

My mum told me at the start of this year for high school i

would get my hair cut, i told them just to cut a LITTLE bit off

but mum had a talk to the hairdresser and told her to cut it

to just about the top of my shoulders.

i was HORRIFIED when they chopped it off, i felt like

i had lost my one and only prized possession.

because my hair is thin, it takes AGES AND AGES to grow,

its probably only grown 1-1 1/2 inches since January when i

got it cut.

ive thought about having hair extensions but i dont think they

would work for me.

and all that mane and tail hair growth stuff is just a joke,

it doesn't work. ive waited just over 10 months for my

hair to grow, and it hasnt.

i need some help.

please what are some things to get my nice

hair back, i cant bear to wait any longer

my self esteem is so low because of it.

Well, I don't know why you think hair extensions will not work for your hair cause extensions can make your hair looks thicker and longer. But consult about this first with a professional hairdresser. But if you don't think that will look good, maybe you can try to cut your hair into something nice and funky. Having a shorter hair doesn't mean you can't have a nice hairstyle. There are a lot of good hairstyles for your hair. Well, it's your choice.

Wash your hair with curd. Keep it for some time before rinsing. Don't leave your hair loose when you go to bed. Make plait till the end of your hair. No depression please or you will loose more hair. Put oil, message lighltly, cover with a wet hot towel so that your scalp gets nourishment-- at least once a week. Good luck and long shinning tresses. Love your self and you will get lovely hair!

Hair extensions make be the way to go for you, if you are not sure why not try 'clip ons' that way you can put them in and take them out as you want, if you like them, with some hairdressers you can have them put in more permanently? If your hair is thin you want extensions that's be minimum damage, try Hair Swift ones ( try www.tashasbeauty.co.nz for hairdressers that have them)

Hair extenisions are nice and all, but if you go to the wrong place/person it can really damage your hair, yea that stuff doesnt work, if you get hair extensions, DO NOT get them glued in, if u really want them, i would get them sewn in, it looks really cute, and it also helps your hair grow, anything with braids i dont know if you've heard of micro-braids they take a while to do, but they look great and they do grow your hair out quicker, and if your never had a relaxer try those, they straighten your hair out but u really need to keep up with those, i think that you should go to a salon, and ask them, oh and a wrap really helps, I've seen it frist hand, but u will need a relaxer with that.

I'm at a loss as to why your mother did that to you when you clearly didn't want your hair to be chopped off. I know that she's your mother, but at 12/13 you're old enough to decide for yourself.
