Cradle cap took out a large section of hair in the front of her head. Will it grow back? She is 6 months old. What hair products can I use on her scalp?

Yes her hair will grow back. My son had it so bad that his hair looked yellow from a distance and he has light brown hair!! They make Cradle cap shampoos....Aveeno makes one and so does another one called Natural or Nature's something. I used the Aveeno one. Your doctor can also prescribe one if those won't work. Work the shampoo into a lather and use a toothbrush to massage the scalp %26amp; loosen the scales and a fine-toothed comb to help comb it out. You can also try the Vaseline %26amp; tossle-cap method but it didn't work for me. You soak the scalp in Vaseline before bed and put a baby hat on top and leave it on all night. In the morning use a comb and comb it out and repeat the next night. Good luck!!

Yes, she will regrow her hair, no worries there. I also wouldn't worry about using any products on her hair, unless you are using it for the cradle cap.

A lot of people seem to think it's the cradle cap that causes hair loss in babies when it's infact not. the hair loss is due to hormones in the baby. all cradle cap is thick oily skin. generally whne babies lose hair and it grows back it may come backa dif color or even texture. my son was born with thick black hair. he lost it now he has fine blond hair

I used baby oil and q-tips to help get it off. And yes the hair will grow back. It might take some time but it will probably take time.
