Ok, i'm 14, and have noticed that my hair is getting continually thin. i only know of my dad being bald in my family, so i dont know if its genetics, or if i just have naturally thin hair. it also seems like i lose more than the normal 100 hairs a day. what my real question is, is that i want to know where i would go to have my hair checked out. i've read about things that halt, and/or help reverse the hair loss, but i dont know where to go. i've seen other help sites, stating to go to a doctor, but would i go to my regular doctor, or a dermatologist, or someone else? thanx for any answers.
Help, my hair is thinning!?
Buy Wild Grow. Smells a little different, but it works. You can buy it from Sally's beauty Supply.

i would ask your doctor and if they thinnk you need to see a specialist then they would send you to one, or if you go to a salon anytime soon you could ask them if they think that your hair is extra thin, also are you taking birth control? because sometimes that can make your hair fall out

are you getting the right nutrients? check you fingernails, i've they're flexible, then you might be mal-nourished, or should i say eating the wrong things.
healthy nails/hair require a certain amont of vit b7 (biotin), the right kinds of proteins (like the kind found in clear gelatin). 14 is a bit young for pattern baldness but its not entirely out of the question.
try switching shampoos. dht cleansers cant do harm, but id stay away from stuff like rogaine, or anything thats a hormonal drug. dht cleansers wash away decomposed testosterone off your skin and dont affect the interior body chemistry. the other stuff does -- not cool especially during puberty.
oh, hows your allergies? i used to shed a lot due to irritation, now that its under control, its really starting to grow back, and im in my late 20s. quality shampoo does help.

I dont want to get all technical but I'm going to just ramble on right now. You shouldn't consume to much animal products: fat, meat, milk, you get the drift. Try to consume fish 2-3 times a week and also eat lots of rice. Rice is said to help with hair growth. Drink lots of water no soda and other crap. Now to help keep and get new hair try messaging rosemary oil on scalp every morning.
Rosemary is known to help darken gray hair over time (although not obvious for a long time) and it is considered to be a stimulant for the roots and the scalp. Many people trying to help stimulate their hair to grow longer or healthier swear by various rosemary infused recipes. ------ -------------------------
I found that on a site. Exercise 4-5 days out of the week to get circulation to your scalp if all this doesnt work than see a dermatologist. I dont think any kid should have thinning hair. Hope I helped.
